Abstract
The corona virus pandemic has caused various negative impacts on companies. This pandemic has had an impact on many businesses. It causes a decrease in profits, especially for commercial banks, even commercial banks can still share the profits obtained with investors. This study aimed to obtain empirical evidence regarding the effect of independent variables using liquidity and solvency towards the dependent variable using dividend policy, with the moderating variable using financial performance. The population used was banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the 2016-2023 period. Before the outlier was carried out, there were 47 samples of banking companies that met the criteria, so 376 data were obtained from the 2016-2023 period. However, after the outlier was carried out, the data was reduced to 323 data. This study used panel data regression analysis as a hypothesis test with the help of e-views 12. The results of this study are liquidity (CR) and solvency (DER) have an effect towards dividend policy (DPR) while financial performance (ROA) cannot moderate the effect of liquidity and solvency towards dividend policy.
