In the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, Indonesia strives to leverage advanced technology to compete on an international scale. One such innovation is the development of expert systems, which mimic expert thought processes and knowledge to solve specific problems. This research aims to develop an expert system capable of diagnosing stress levels in TNI/Polri candidates who fail their tests, using the forward chaining method. This system is expected to provide better support to candidates by analyzing reported stress symptoms and offering appropriate solutions. The research utilizes the ADDIE method for system design and JavaScript programming language. The results show that the forward chaining method is effective in diagnosing stress levels and providing relevant recommendations. With this system, it is hoped that candidates can manage stress better and enhance their readiness for subsequent tests. This study successfully designs a web-based expert system that accurately diagnoses stress levels and provides relevant solutions, helping individuals understand and manage stress resulting from test failures.
