This research aims to identify the local wisdom values possessed by the Josari community, examine the role of local wisdom values with a multicultural perspective as a bridge for communication between ethnicities and religions for the people in Josari, and identify changes in behavior towards local wisdom values as a source of social studies learning in schools. This research uses a qualitative approach with naturalistic methods which aims to examine the values that develop in society. The subjects of this research are the people of Josari Village, located in Jetis District, Ponorogo Regency. This research data collection used observation, interviews and documentation from various sources that support and are related to the research. Data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the initial behavior of the people of Josari Village generally felt uneasy with developments regarding the preservation of various traditions which could have an adverse impact on people's lives, changes in people's behavior changed and continued to develop according to needs and were not tied to existing traditional cultural traditions because of their mindset. those who are increasingly advanced, the factors that influence community behavior, namely perception, motivation, emotions and learning, as well as the potential for changes in community behavior regarding the urgency of local wisdom-based education as a source of social studies learning, namely starting from unrest in the community, can be strengthened in implementing local wisdom-based education which plays a very important role in improving human resources through education. So it can be concluded that there has been a change in the community's mindset regarding the urgency of local wisdom-based education and its potential for social studies learning resources.
