Abstract

The use of Internet of Things (IoT) technology is growing and provides various conveniences in everyday life, including in the management of water resources. This research aims to develop a prototype of PDAM water monitoring system in households using IoT-based Node MCU with Telegram platform. This system utilises Node MCU ESP8266 as the main microcontroller connected to several components such as water flow sensor, relay, solenoid valve, and LCD I2C. Based on the results of testing and analysis of 10 samples, the YF S201 sensor has the highest volume error of 0.98% and the lowest is 0.92% and the average volume error is 0.97% so that the accuracy of the YF-S201 sensor is 99%. The selenoid valve can also run smoothly when the Telegram application gives commands to turn the valve on or off. Telegram and LCD can display the value generated by the water flow sensor precisely and accurately.
