Abstract
E-books are interactive digital learning resources, where messages or information can be presented more interestingly and diversely in the form of a combination of text, images, animation, audio, and video so that the learning material presented can be interesting and make it easier for students to learn. Therefore, to support systematic, contextualized learning and science enhancement, research-based e-books need to be developed. The results of the study can be used as material for compiling research-based e-books to support the project-based learning process or in agricultural biotechnology courses. This study aims to assess the screening results of indigenous molds that degrade cipermethrin pesticide residues on an in-vitro scale. The method used in the preparation of e-books is 4D. The results of the biodegradation test research showed that F. falciforme mold has the potential to degrade cipermethrin pesticide with 93% degradation ability. The results of the research were compiled into a research-based e-book used as teaching material for Biotechnology courses and validated by two validators, namely material experts and media experts with an achievement rate of 93.3%. The validation results show that the e-book can be used with very valid criteria.
