Keywords: strengthening literacy, reading aloud, non-text study books, leveled books The international reading literacy score shows that Indonesia is in the low category compared to other countries. This requires strengthening literacy from an early age to foster students' interest in reading. In line with this vision, schools need to carry out activity programs to strengthen student literacy at school. SDN 1 Tanjungrejo carried out a movement to strengthen literacy with the strategy of reading aloud with the help of non-textbooks throughout the lesson. This research aims to describe and explain the implementation of literacy strengthening strategies for reading aloud non-text books for leveled lessons at SDN 1 Tanjungrejo for the 2023/2024 academic year as well as reflections on these activities. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The data sources used are documents, events and informants. The informants in this research were class I to class VI teachers, subject teachers, students, and parents/guardians of students. The events in this research are all forms of learning activities carried out by class I to class VI teachers online or in combination. The documents observed in this research were prota, promissory note, syllabus, lesson plan, and list of values. Data collection techniques in this research used interviews, observation and documentation. Data validity uses triangulation method techniques with sources. The results of the research show that the implementation of strengthening literacy strategies for reading aloud with the help of leveled non-textbooks at SDN 1 Tanjungrejo is going well. There are three stages of learning strategies used, namely; 1. Preparation for the implementation of strengthening literacy reading aloud, 2. Implementation of reading aloud, 3. Assessment of reading aloud. Meanwhile, reflection activities are carried out from the results of reflection by teachers and students. Based on the results of the reflection carried out, it shows that reading aloud activities can foster students' interest in reading.
