Abstract
Assessment is something that cannot be separated from teaching and learning activities in the world of education. The teacher must carry out a test of the appropriateness of the questions that will be used in assessment activities for students. This research aims to determine the level of difficulty, distinguishing power, and effectiveness of distractors on the Final Semester Summative (SAS) questions for Class X Indonesian Language at SMA Negeri 1 Nglames, Madiun Regency. The research method used is descriptive quantitative, the data source used is the SAS questions for Indonesian language class is quantitative analysis, namely data analysis using SPSS Version 29 and Microsoft Excel software. The results of the research show that the Final Semester Summative questions for Class .00%, adequate discriminating power is 15 or 37.50%, good discriminating power is 12 or 30.00%, and negative discriminating power or no discriminating power is 3 or 7.50%, has quite good distractor effectiveness, as much as 70.00% of the distractor items functioned well, very good effectiveness was 4 or 10.00%, good distractor effectiveness was 9 or 22.50%, fair distractor effectiveness was 15 or 37.50%, poor distractor effectiveness was 12 or 30.00%, and the effectiveness of the distractor is not good or 0.00%.
