Abstract

The use of an merdeka curriculum requires students to be more active so that learning is carried out in a collaborative way. This research aims to determine the effect of the merdeka learning curriculum on economic learning outcomes at SMKN 5 Madiun City. This research method is included in quantitative research with a descriptive type. Data collection techniques use questionnaires and documentation. The sampling technique used was a saturated sample of 57 respondents. The population in this study were students of SMKN 5 Madiun City. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 26 which showed that variable X partially had a positive and significant effect on Learning Outcomes (Y). This is known based on the results of hypothesis testing where the significance value of the merdeka curriculum variable is 0.026 < 0.05 and tcount is 2.294 > 1.673. This means that the results of this research are in accordance with the hypothesis H which states that the merdeka curriculum has a positive and significant effect on the Economics and Business learning outcomes of students at SMKN 5 Madiun City. This shows that the better the merdeka curriculum is implemented in schools, the more student learning outcomes will increase. The influence of the merdeka learning curriculum (X) on learning outcomes (Y) is 56.9%.
