Advisor Dr. Dwi Setiyadi,M.M Co Advisor Dr. Sigit Ricahyono,S.S.,M.Pd Keywords: Problem- Based Learning, Learning Motivation Report Writing Skills Writing report skills are an essential aspect of elementary school learning, yet many students still struggle to compose reports in a systematic and structured manner. This challenge hinders the development of their writing abilities, which should be cultivated through more effective learning methods. This study aims to explore the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) method and learning motivation on students' report writing skills at SDN 2 Karangan,Badegan Subdistrict, Ponorogo Regency. The research method used is the problem based learning method and learning motivation towards the report writing skills of students of SDN 2 Karangan, Badegan District, Ponorogo Regency in the 2023/2024 academic year with a case study approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving grade V students and teachers. The findings show that the implementation of the PBL method improves students' report writing skills, especially in terms of report structure and information analysis. Additionally, students' learning motivation plays a crucial role in improving learning outcomes, with highly motivated students being more engaged and producing better reports. This study concludes that the combination of PBL and high learning motivation can enhance report writing skills in elementary education.
