Abstract
Grape vines (Vitis vinivera L) are widely distributed in Indonesia. Therefore, a more in-depth morphological study is needed to distinguish various grape species. The purpose of this study is to determine the morphological characteristics of grape plants as an encyclopedia to support biodiversity courses. This research method is Qualitative research with observation model. Sampling using literature study and observation methods. Data collection techniques were carried out by interview, observation, filling out validation sheets by material and media validators, and filling out practicality questionnaires by the community. The grape plant (Vitis vinivera L) has a morphology that is not much different from the original species, this plant adapts to environmental factors. These environmental factors include: soil pH, soil moisture, air temperature, air humidity, and light intensity. Soil pH that is moist enough around 7-8 will make plants fertile because nutrients and nutrients are sufficient. If the soil pH is less than 6 then, this soil includes dry soil, this can damage the grape vines due to the lack of absorption of nutrients and nutrients that make plants grow not optimally. As a result, the plants die, the leaves dry up and fail to bear fruit. The results of this morphological research of grape plants consist of trees, leaves, seeds, flowers, fruits, and roots. The diversity of grapes found in ACC Garden is 43 varieties. Based on the grouping of grape varieties there are 5 as follows: Vitis rotundifalia Michx, Vitis girdiana Munson, Vitis riparia Michx, Vitis vinivera L, and Vitis Indet. From this grouping data, the most grape varieties are Vitis Indet with 38 varieties and the least varieties are Vitis rotundifalia Michx with 6 varieties. The variety of grape species found in the ACC Garden provides insight into how plants adapt to their environment. This understanding is not only important for maintaining the balance of the ecosystem, but also for the relationship between humans and plants. The validity of the encyclopedia from the material expert assessment from 2 validators received an average score of 86.3 including valid criteria and can be used without revision. The validity test from 2 media expert validators received an average score of 80.5 with very valid criteria and can be used without revision. Implementation that has been done to the community of 20 respondents who produced an average score of 41.50% stated practical.
