Abstract

This study is based on the phenomenon of many young people who are starting to realize the importance of investing. Data from KSEI also shows that every year investors continue to increase and the majority of investors are gen z. Investors have their own reasons and factors which support in investing, including financial literacy and income factors. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of financial literacy, the effect of income and the effect of the interaction of financial literacy and income towards investment decisions. The data used were primary data in the form of experimental results from students at Universitas PGRI Madiun. The population of this study were UNIPMA accounting students with 60 participants. The test tool used was SPSS 24. The results of this study are: 1) there are differences in investment decisions in individuals who have large incomes and small incomes; 2) there are differences in investment decisions in individuals who have strong literacy and small incomes; 3) there are differences in investment decisions in individuals who have strong literacy, large incomes with individuals who have weak literacy and low income; and 4) there are differences in investment decisions between individuals with strong literacy, low income and individuals with weak literacy.
