Abstract

This study aimed to provide empirical evidence of the effect of Gross Domestic Product, Exports, and Imports towards Foreign Direct Investment. The population in this study was countries in Southeast Asia using non-probability sampling techniques, resulting in a sample of 10 countries in the period of 2013-2022. The research method used in this study was a quantitative approach. The analysis technique of this study used panel data regression analysis with the help of EViews10 software. The results of this study indicate: the Gross Domestic Product variable and the Import variable have no effect towards Foreign Direct Investment, while the Export variable has an effect towards Foreign Direct Investment in Southeast Asia in 2013-2022 period.
