Madiun: Program Studi Magister Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia, Fakultas Pascasarjana, Universitas PGRI Madiun. Pembimbing (I) Dr. V. Teguh Suharto, M.Pd (II) Dr. Agung Nasrulloh Saputro, S.Pd.,M.Pd Kata Kunci : Menulis puisi, Teknik Gali Kunci Pembelajaran sastra pada mata pelajaran Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia dapat dikelompokkan menjadi beberapa hal, misalnya prosa, drama, dan puisi. Dalam pembelajaran sastra tersebut seorang siswa dituntut untuk dapat membaca sastra dengan tepat, mengetahui, isi karya sastra dengan baik yang faktor intrinsik maupun ekstrinsik, serta membacakan karya sastra dan menulis karya sastra. Pada penelitian tindakan kelas ini, bertujuan agar siswa dapat menguasai menulis puisi dengan baik melalui pembalajaran dengan teknik gali kunci yang memanfaatkan kata kunci yang diberikan sehingga bisa menjadi puisi yang imajinatif. Teknik gali kunci ialah suatu teknik yang sangat bagus dan menyenangkan dalam pembelajaran mengawali atau menulis puisi yang sangat memuaskan dan bermutu. Pada penulis puisi pemula sangat penting teknik gali kunci, dengan kata kunci siswa termemotivasi untuk dapat memproduksi kata-kata menjadi larik, karena dalam teknik ini merupakan menulis puisi bebas dan tidak ada larangan tetapi imajinatif, rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah: Adakah peningkatan kemampuan menulis puisi melalui teknik gali kunci siswa kelas VII A SMP Negeri 4 Ponorogo tahun pelajaran 2023/2024, sedangkan tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan menulis puisi melalui teknik gali kunci siswa kelas VII A SMP Negeri 4 Ponorogo. Hasil penilitian tindakan kelas siklus I siswa yang memperoleh nilai < 70 sejumlah 7 orang. Hasil tes siklus II siswa yang memperoleh < 70 sejumlah 1 orang. Hasil tes siklus III semua siswa bisa bernilai > 70 semua. Jadi sudah bisa tuntas 100 %. Sedangkan kenaikan ketuntasan belajar dari siklus I ke sikls II kemudian siklus III ada kenaikan yang signifikan yaitu pada siklus I 74.03 %, siklus II 96.30%, dan siklus III 100%. Dari hasi pengamatan dan analisis data pada penelitian ini maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada peningkatan kemampuan menulis puisi dengan teknik gali kunci siswa kelas VII A SMP Negeri 4 Ponorogo tahun pelajaran 2023/2024 ABSTRAK 2024.Improving Poetry Writing Skills with the Key Digging Technique for Students of Class VII A of SMP Negeri 4 Ponorogo. Teguh Suharto, M.Pd (II) Dr. Agung Nasrulloh Saputro, S.Pd.,M.Pd Kata Kunci : Poetry writing, Key Digging Technique Literature learning in Indonesian Language and Literature subjects can be grouped into several things, such as prose, drama, and poetry. In learning literature, a student is required to be able to read literature appropriately, know the content of literary works with both intrinsic and extrinsic factors, as well as recite literary works and write literary works. In this class action research, it aims that students can master writing poetry well through teaching with the key digging technique that utilizes the keywords given so that it can become an imaginative poem. The key digging technique is a very good and fun technique in learning to start or write poetry that is very satisfying and quality. In novice poetry writers, the key digging technique is very important, with keywords students are motivated to be able to produce words into arrays, because in this technique it is a free poetry writing and there are no restrictions but imaginative, the problem formulation in this study is: Is there an improvement in the ability to write poetry through the digging key technique of class VII A students of SMP Negeri 4 Ponorogo in the 2023/2024 academic year, while the purpose of this study is to determine the improvement in the ability to write poetry through the digging key technique of class VII A students of SMP Negeri 4 Ponorogo. The results of the first cycle class action research showed that there were 7 students who scored < 70. The results of the second cycle test of students who obtained < 70 were 7 people.
