Abstract
Currently the need for electrical energy is increasing. All home devices are able to control the use of electrical energy as well as calculate electrical power so that electricity consumption is not excessive. Households need electrical energy to work. The aim of the research carried out is to create a tool for monitoring sockets which is expected to help in saving electricity. The development method used in developing this system is the Waterfall method. The results of this research show that the designed Smart Plug system can function well and meet the expected functional and performance criteria. Testing was carried out using the Usability Testing method, and the results showed that the system could run stably and responsively
