Abstract

Extracurricular activity management is a management process carried out in an organized manner related to planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating extracurricular activities. The implementation of extracurricular activities will face obstacles if they are not managed according to the management stage, so extracurricular activities must be managed seriously. Good extracurricular management will have a positive impact on the quality and quality of schools. This research uses qualitative methods with field studies using data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation and documentation. Primary data is the results of interviews regarding the management of extracurricular activities. Secondary data in the research are documents related to extracurricular activities such as a list of names of children who take part in extracurricular activities, extracurricular activity schedules, and photo documentation of extracurricular activities. The research results show that extracurricular management is implemented through the following four stages (1) Planning a needs analysis, determining the type of extracurricular, objectives, extracurricular schedule, infrastructure and output. (2) Division of duties and responsibilities of personnel in extracurricular activities. (3) Implementation of extracurricular activities according to plan. (4) Evaluation of extracurricular activities.
