Abstract
This research aims to determine the career interest factors of UNIPMA Accounting Education students. The population used in this research was UNIPMA accounting education students from semesters 2 to 8, with a total sample of 85 students. The sampling technique in this research used proportionate stratified random sampling with a sample size of 75 students. The data analysis technique in this research uses descriptive analysis methods and multiple linear regression using SPSS 17.0 software. The results of this study show that (1) personality does not significantly influence career factors. This is proven by the partial T test which produces a coefficient value of sig = 0.019 > 0.05. (2) Peers have a significant influence on career factors. This is proven by the partial t test which produces a coefficient value of sig = 0.002 < 0.05 (3) Parents do not have a significant influence on career factors. This is proven by the partial t test which produces a coefficient value of sig = 0.142 > 0.05. (4) cultural influence does not significantly influence career factors. This is proven by the partial t test which produces a coefficient value of sig = 0.230 > 0.05. There is a significant and simultaneous influence of personality, peers, parents, and cultural influences on the career interest factors of UNIPMA accounting education students. This finding is proven by the simultaneous f multiple linear regression test which produces a sig coefficient of 0.000<0.05.
