Abstract
The problem found at SDN 3 Sambongrejo was the problem of using learning media that was less interesting and less varied. During the learning process, the media used is power point. However, the power point used is not equipped with animation, so students are less interested and have difficulty understanding the material presented. The aim of the research conducted regarding the Scratch application learning media using the inquiry learning model in science and science learning is: to determine the development of the Scratch application learning media using the inquiry learning model in science and science learning for fourth grade elementary school students and to describe the feasibility of the Scratch application learning media using the inquiry learning model in science and science learning for fourth grade elementary school students. This type of research is research and development (RnD) using the ADDIE development model. In this research, the instruments used consisted of validation sheets from language experts, media experts, material experts, and the results of teacher response questionnaires and student responses. The data collection technique in this research is by using interviews, questionnaires, tests and documentation. The results of this research show that this research produced a development product in the form of Scratch application learning media with the ADDIE model development design, and to determine the feasibility of the Scratch application learning media as evidenced by the results of the validation, language experts obtained 87.5%, media experts obtained a score of 97, 5%, material experts got a score of 95%, and teacher responses and student responses regarding the Scratch application learning media showed high interest as evidenced by the results of the questionnaire distributing teacher response questionnaires and student response questionnaires. It can be concluded that the development of the Scratch application learning media using the inquiry learning model in science and science learning for fourth grade elementary school students is valid to be applied.
