Abstract

Bela Septianingrum 2024. History of the Pundensari Market, Gunungsari Village, Madiun District, Madiun Regency and its Potential as a Source of Elementary School Science-IPS Learning. Thesis of History Education Study Program, FKIP, PGRI Madiun University. Supervisor (I) Dr.Muhammad Hanif, M.M., M.Pd., (II) Dr. Drs. Soebijantoro, M.M., M.Pd Keywords: Elementary School Science Learning, History of Pundensari The Pundensari Market, Gunungsari Village, Madiun District, Madiun Regency was founded because of the village community's unrest over the less than optimal use of the punden area and not being supported by village community empowerment activities. In this condition, a group of residents with a difficult pioneering period and full of high risks created an activity called Pundensari Market as community empowerment that had an economic impact. This market exists and is well known both at home and abroad and is packaged in the concept of traditional Javanese culture in the Gunungsari Tourism Village. The history of the Pundensari Market can potentially be used as a learning resource for elementary school science and social studies which is related to various elements in the Learning Outcomes (CP) of the Merdeka Curriculum Phase C (Grades V and VI). This research aims to describe and explain the history of the Pundensari Market, Gunungsari Village, Madiun District, Madiun Regency and the historical potential of the Pundensari Market as a source of elementary science and social studies learning. This research was carried out for 4 months, starting from March 2024 - June 2024. The method in this research used qualitative with a descriptive type case study approach. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and document analysis. The data validation technique uses source triangulation. Data analysis uses interactive analysis of Miles and Huberman. The results of the research illustrate that: 1) The history of the establishment of the Pundensari Market cannot be separated from ideas and public awareness of opportunities and is packaged in gradual pioneering, 2) The historical potential of the Pundensari Market as a source of learning for elementary science and social sciences in the Independent Curriculum in Phase C (Class V and VI) proven by changes in natural conditions on the earth's surface that occur through human action factors that have an impact on social and economic society as well as the discovery of various types of creative economy in the environment around where you live.
