Abstract

ABSTRACT Muhammad Fajar Haidhar 2024. The Effect of Group Guidance with Problem-Solving Techniques on the Entrepreneurial Independence of the XII grade BDP Students at SMK PGRI Wonoasri. Thesis. Department of Guidance and Counseling, FKIP UNIVERSITAS PGRI MADIUN. Advisor (1) Dr. Dahlia Novaring Asri, M.Si., (II) Diana Ariswanti Triningtyas, S.Pd., M.Psi. This study aims to determine the effect of group guidance services with problem-solving techniques on entrepreneurial independence of the XII grade BDP students at SMK PGRI Wonoasri, Madiun Regency, for the 2023/2024 academic year. The method used in this study is the group guidance approach with problem-solving techniques, employing a quantitative experimental research type, using purposive sampling data collection with the distribution of Likert scale questionnaires. The research design uses the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. This study uses the Paired Sample T-Test. The treatment of group guidance services with problem-solving techniques was conducted twice. The results showed a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0,001, which is less than the significance value of 0.05, indicating a significant difference between the initial and final variables. The paired sample correlations test resulted in a significance value of 0.005, which is less than the significance value of 0.05, indicating a meaningful effect, marked by a difference in the average before and after the treatment was given.
