Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of debt policy and dividend policy on firm value with growth opportunity as a moderating variable. The research was conducted on energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2021-2024 period. This study employs a quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from idx website and the respective company websites. The sample was selected using purposive sampling, resulting in 268 processed data points. The analytical methods used are multiple linear regression analysis and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) using SPSS software version 26. The results indicate that debt policy affects firm value, dividend policy affects firm value, growth opportunity is unable to moderate the effect of debt policy on firm value, and growth opportunity is unable to moderate the effect of dividend policy on firm value.
