Abstract
This study aimed to determine the influence of independent commissioners, investment decisions, and firm value on capital structure, adding the influence of profitability as a moderator. This study was conducted on food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2021-2025 period. The population of this study was 84 food and beverage companies listed on the IDX. The sample in this study was 58 companies after purposive sampling with certain criteria. The data analysis technique in this study used multiple linear regression and Moderated Reggresion Analysis (MRA), processed using SPSS. The results of this study indicate that independent commissioners have a negative and significant effect on capital structure, investment decisions have a positive and significant effect on capital structure, and firm value has no significant effect on capital structure. Meanwhile, profitability, as a moderating factor, moderates the influence of independent commissioners on capital structure, but weakens it. However, profitability does not moderate the influence of investment decisions and firm value on capital structure.
