Improving Descriptive Writing Skills Using the Technical Writing Method Assisted by Visual Media for Fifth Grade Students of Bulu Public Elementary School, Sukomoro District, Magetan Regency. Thesis. Keywords: writing, description, technical writing methods, and visual media This study aims to describe (1) the application of the technical writing method assisted by visual media can improve writing learning in fifth grade students of Bulu State Elementary School, Sukomoro District, Magetan Regency, and (2) the learning outcomes of fifth grade students of Bulu State Elementary School, Sukomoro District, Magetan Regency in learning to write using the technical writing method assisted by visual media. This study is a classroom action research with two research cycles. The results of this study are: (1) the application of the technical writing method can improve writing learning in fifth grade students of Bulu State Elementary School, Sukomoro District, Magetan Regency. This is proven in the second cycle, students are more active during the learning process, students pay attention to the teacher's explanation and have high enthusiasm and motivation in learning. The focus, activeness and enthusiasm of students are increased because the teacher explains the material in an interesting way. The teacher explains the material while giving games to students and giving jokes so that the class atmosphere is not tense and students are not tense in learning so that students are more enthusiastic about learning, and (2) the learning outcomes of fifth grade students of Bulu State Elementary School, Sukomoro District, Magetan Regency in learning to write using the technical writing method assisted by visual media have increased. This is indicated by the fact that in cycle I, 6 students, or 25%, achieved learning completion. In cycle II, 22 students, or 91.6%, achieved learning completion and classical learning completion. The average score in cycle I was 52.21, categorized as incomplete. In cycle II, the average score was 84.71, categorized as complete.
