Abstract

Application of the STAD Learning Model and Wordwall Learning Media to Improve Official Letter Writing Skills of Sixth Grade Students at Sumberarum III Elementary School, Ngraho District, Bojonegoro Regency, Academic Year 2025/2026. Thesis. Madiun: Master of Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, Graduate School, Universitas PGRI Madiun. Supervisors: (I) Prof. Dr. Bambang Eko Hari Cahyono, M.Pd., (II) Dr. Endang Sri Maruti, M.Pd. Keywords: STAD Learning, Wordwall, Official Letter According to interviews conducted at Sumberarum III Elementary School, Ngraho District, Bojonegoro Regency, problems in Indonesian language learning were identified, including students' lack of active participation in learning, lack of student cooperation, and lack of student soft skills development during learning. The researchers used Classroom Action Research (CAR). Data collection techniques in this study included learning outcome tests, documentation, observation, and interviews. The researchers conducted the study over two cycles with four meetings. The research analysis used quantitative and quantitative data analysis. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement in formal letter writing skills of sixth-grade students at SD Negeri Sumberarum III, Ngraho District, Bojonegoro Regency, in the 2025/2026 academic year using the STAD learning model and Wordwall learning media Based on these issues, the following research questions can be formulated: can the application of the STAD learning model and Wordwall learning media improve the formal letter writing skills of sixth-grade students at SD Negeri Sumberarum III, Ngraho District, Bojonegoro Regency, in the 2025/2026 academic year? Furthermore, the advantages and disadvantages of implementing the STAD learning model and Wordwall learning media to improve formal letter writing skills of sixth-grade students at SD Negeri Sumberarum III, Ngraho District, Bojonegoro Regency, in the 2025/2026 academic year?. Based on the analysis, it was found that the use of the STAD learning model and Wordwall learning media increased. In the first cycle, it reached 56.6% and in the second cycle, it reached 86.6%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the STAD learning model and Wordwall learning media for sixth-grade students of Sumberarum III Elementary School, Ngraho District, Bojonegoro Regency can still be used in learning
