Abstract

Yuwono, Dhadhang Putra. 2025. Application of the Project-Based Learning Model and Pantun Monopoly in Teaching Pantun Writing to Fifth Grade Students of Sugihwaras III Elementary School, Sugihwaras District, Bojonegoro Regency. Thesis. PGRI Madiun University. Supervisors: (1) Dr. Lulus Irawati, S.S., M.Pd., (2) Dr. Muhammad Binur Huda, M.Pd. Keywords: learning media, pantun monopoly, pantun writing, Project-Based Learning Based on observations of student activities during the lesson, a summary of student activities showed that the Pantun Monopoly (Montun) media in Pantun Writing Learning using the Project-Based Learning model increased student active engagement, as evidenced by an average activity score of 85, categorized as "Good." However, several aspects, such as the ability to respond to the opinions or ideas of teachers or other students, were lacking. Teachers can integrate additional exercises to strengthen these skills, as well as provide individual guidance to students in the "Sufficient" category. With these steps, learning is expected to be more optimal and produce equitable results across all aspects. Based on observations of teacher activities and data analysis, it can be concluded that the analysis of teacher activities during the pantun writing lesson using the Pantun Monopoly (Montun) media in Pantun Writing Learning using the Project-Based Learning model demonstrated excellent performance. Of the eleven indicators observed, seven (63.6%) were in the "Good" (B) category, and four (36.4%) were in the "Sufficient" (C) category. Based on the results of tests given by teachers to students, students' performance in writing pantun using Monopoly Pantun (Montun) media in Pantun Writing Learning using the Project-Based Learning Model was quite good overall, although there was variation in ability across the assessed aspects. For the aspect of identifying spelling usage, the average score reached 32.8, with the majority of students able to understand the use of syllables, rhyme, structure, and language, although some students needed improvement. For the aspect of analyzing word choice, the average score was 15, indicating good ability, but some students still needed assistance in developing logical arguments. For the aspect of wording, the average score was 32.6, with four students achieving an excellent score, indicating a good understanding of wording.
