Abstract
This study has the following objectives: (1) To analyze the differences in narrative writing skills between students with high reading habits and students with low reading habits in grade V elementary school students in Cluster 1, Margomulyo District, Bojonegoro Regency; (2) To analyze the differences in narrative writing skills between students with high critical thinking skills and students with low critical thinking skills in grade V elementary school students in Cluster 1, Margomulyo District, Bojonegoro Regency; (3) To analyze the influence of reading habits and critical thinking skills together on narrative writing skills in grade V elementary school students in Cluster 1, Margomulyo District, Bojonegoro Regency. The study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental research design. Data collection techniques used tests and questionnaires, and data analysis techniques used two-way ANOVA statistical techniques. The results of the study concluded: (1) there are differences in narrative writing skills between students with high reading habits and students with low reading habits in grade V elementary school students in Cluster-1, Margomulyo District, Bojonegoro Regency; (2) there is a difference in narrative writing skills between students with high critical thinking skills and students with low critical thinking skills in grade V elementary school students in cluster-1, Margomulyo sub-district, Bojonegoro district; (3) there is an interaction between reading habits and critical thinking skills in influencing narrative writing skills in grade V elementary school students in cluster-1, Margomulyo sub-district, Bojonegoro district.
