Abstract
ABSTRAK Betty Nisma Anugraheni. 2025. Peningkatan Kemampuan Menulis Teks Laporan Hasil Observasi Melalui Model Problem Based Learning Pada Siswa Kelas X TITL 1 SMK Negeri 1 Bendo Magetan. Skripsi. Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia, Fakultas Kegururuan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas PGRI Madiun. Pembimbing (I) Dr. Agung Nasrulloh Saputro, M.Pd.; (II) Dr. Muhammad Binur Huda, M.Pd. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks laporan hasil observasi melalui penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada siswa kelas X TITL 1 SMK Negeri 1 Bendo. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam menulis teks laporan hasil observasi yang ditandai dengan ketidakmampuan menyusun struktur teks secara sistematis, penggunaan kaidah kebahasaan yang kurang tepat, serta rendahnya keaktifan siswa dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri atas tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X TITL 1 SMK Negeri 1 Bendo. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi tes menulis, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks laporan hasil observasi siswa. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh peningkatan nilai rata-rata dan persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa dari siklus I ke siklus II. Selain itu, keaktifan, kerja sama, dan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dalam proses pembelajaran juga mengalami peningkatan. This research aims to improve students ability to write observation report texts through the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in class X TITL 1 of SMK Negeri 1 Bendo. The background of this research is the low ability of students in writing observation report texts, as indicated by difficulties in organizing text structure, inappropriate use of linguistic features, and low student participation in learning activities. This study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were students of class X TITL 1 at SMK Negeri 1 Bendo. Data collection techniques included writing tests, observations, and documentation. Data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative and qualitative methods. The results showed that the implementation of the Problem Based Learning model effectively improved students’ ability to write observation report texts. This improvement was evidenced by an increase in the average scores and learning mastery from cycle I to cycle II. In addition, students’ activeness, collaboration, and critical thinking skills during the learning process also improved.
