Thesis. Master's Program in Indonesian Language and Literature Education. Graduate School of PGRI University Madiun (UNIPMA). Keywords: Mind Mapping, Intensive Reading, Writing This study aims to: (1) Describe the application of the Mind Mapping method assisted by intensive reading techniques in teaching reading journal writing to fourth-grade students at SDN Jetis Dagangan Elementary School in Madiun Regency; (2) Improve the reading journal writing skills of fourth-grade students at SDN Jetis Dagangan Elementary School in Madiun Regency through the application of the Mind Mapping method assisted by intensive reading techniques. This research is classroom action research. The stages of this research were arranged starting from the pre-cycle stage, cycle I, to cycle II. The research subjects were fourth-grade students at SDN Jetis Dagangan Elementary School in Madiun Regency. The results of the study show that: (1) The application of the Mind Mapping method assisted by intensive reading techniques in teaching reading journal writing to fourth-grade students at SDN Jetis Dagangan Madiun was carried out systematically and purposefully; (2) The application of the Mind Mapping method assisted by intensive reading techniques was proven to be able to improve the reading journal writing skills of fourth-grade students at SDN Jetis Dagangan Madiun.
