Abstract
Keywords: Think Pair Share, Serial Pictures, Writing, Mentally Disabled This study aims to: (1) Describe the application of the Think Pair Share method and serial images in teaching simple sentence writing to students with intellectual disabilities at SMPLB Negeri Karangrejo, Madiun Regency; (2) Describe the obstacles encountered in the process of applying the Think Pair Share method and serial image media in teaching simple sentence writing to students with intellectual disabilities at SMPLB Negeri Karangrejo, Madiun Regency. This research is classroom action research. The stages of this research were arranged starting from the pre-cycle stage, cycle I, to cycle II. The research subjects were all students with intellectual disabilities. The results showed that: (1) The application of the Think Pair Share method and serial image media in teaching simple sentence writing proved to be effective in improving the abilities of students with intellectual disabilities at SMPLB Negeri Karangrejo, Madiun Regency; (2) The obstacles that arose in the application of the Think Pair Share method and serial image media were mainly related to differences in students' initial abilities, limitations in communication between participants, varying levels of focus, and uneven language proficiency.
