Abstract
This classroom action research (CAR) uses the Kahoot application to improve the mathematical problem-solving skills of fifth-grade students of SDN Tawangrejo 2 in the material of spatial figures. Students do not have good mathematical problem-solving skills, as shown by the fact that most students have not reached the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) of 70, and the learning method is still dominated by lectures and not much interactive media is used in the learning process. This type of classroom action research is carried out systematically based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model including the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages in the qualitative approach used in this study. 11 fifth-grade students of SDN Tawangrejo 2 are the research subjects. Problem-solving ability tests, observation, questionnaires, and documentation are data collection techniques. The results of the study indicate that in the pre-cycle stage students have not achieved classical learning mastery. After the implementation of learning using the Kahoot application, there was an increase in the average score and percentage of student learning mastery in each cycle. At the end of the study, the average score of students reached 82 with a completion percentage of 91%, thus meeting the established success indicators. Thus, the use of the Kahoot application has been proven to improve students' mathematical problem-solving abilities in spatial geometry material.
