Improving Language and Social-Emotional Skills Using Idol Figures as Models in Fairy Tale Learning for First-Grade Students of SD Negeri Kesamben 1, Ngoro District, Jombang Regency, Academic Year 2025–2026. Thesis. Madiun: Master’s Program in Indonesian Language and Literature Education, Graduate School, Universitas PGRI Madiun. Advisors: (I) Dr. Dwi Rohman Soleh, S.S., M.Pd., (II) Dr. Kodrat Eko Putro Setiawan, M.Pd. Keywords: Idol Figures, Models, Language Skills, Social-Emotional This study aims to improve the language and social-emotional skills of first-grade students at SD Negeri Kesamben 1 through the use of idol figures as role models in fairy tale learning. This research employs a qualitative method with a classroom action research design. The research subjects consisted of 13 first-grade students at SD Negeri Kesamben 1. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The research results indicate that the use of idol figures as role models can improve students' language and social-emotional skills. Students became more active and engaged in the learning process, gained a better understanding of fairy tales, and were able to express opinions and ideas more clearly and effectively. This study recommends the use of idol figures as role models as an effective learning strategy to improve students' language and social-emotional skills.
