Abstract

This study aims to describe (1) the use of concept map method assisted by placard media can improve the ability to write experiences of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Banjarsari, Ngronggot District, Nganjuk Regency and (2) the response of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Banjarsari, Ngronggot District, Nganjuk Regency to learning to write experiences using concept map method assisted by placard media. This study is a classroom action research with two research cycles. The results of this study are (1) Learning to write experiences using concept map method assisted by placard media in fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Banjarsari, Ngronggot District, Nganjuk Regency has increased. The results of cycle I obtained an average of 64.5 while in cycle II the average value obtained was 79.6, and (2) Student responses in learning to write experiences using concept map method assisted by placard media in fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Banjarsari, Ngronggot District, Nganjuk Regency there is a change to a positive student response indicator.
