Keywords: writing, description, method, and suggestive narrative This study aims to narrate and explain (1) the use of the suggestive narrative method can improve the descriptive writing skills of fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 2 Mojoduwur, Ngetos District, Nganjuk Regency, and (2) the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 2 Mojoduwur, Ngetos District, Nganjuk Regency in learning to write descriptions using the suggestive narrative method. This study is a classroom action research using two cycles. The results of this study are (1) the use of the suggestive narrative method can improve the descriptive writing skills of fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 2 Mojoduwur, Ngetos District, Nganjuk Regency. This is evidenced by the data from the results of the study on student learning activities in cycle I and cycle II in participating in learning using the suggestive narrative learning method experienced an increase. (2) The learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Mojoduwur, Ngetos District, Nganjuk Regency in learning to write descriptions using the suggestive narrative method show that the average percentage value of learning outcomes for descriptive writing skills in cycle I was 77.78% and in cycle II was 83.33% or an increase of 5.55%.
