The Influence of Folklore Use on Moral Value Comprehension of Fifth Grade Students at Public Elementary Schools in Cluster 2, Kecamatan Sawahan, Kabupaten Nganjuk, Viewed from Emotional Intelligence. Thesis. Madiun: Master’s Program in Indonesian Language and Literature Education, Postgraduate Faculty, Universitas PGRI Madiun. Supervisors: (I) Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo,M.Pd (II) Dr. Dwi Rohman Soleh, S.S,M.Pd., Keywords: Folklore, Moral Values, Emotional Intelligence. This study investigates: (1) the effect of using folklore on the moral value comprehension of fifth grade students at public elementary schools in Cluster 2, Kecamatan Sawahan, Kabupaten Nganjuk; (2) the effect of emotional intelligence on their moral value comprehension; and (3) the interaction between folklore use and emotional intelligence in influencing students’ moral value comprehension. The research employed a quantitative quasi-experimental method, and the data were analyzed using two-way ANOVA. The results indicate that: (1) the use of folklore significantly affects students’ moral value comprehension; (2) emotional intelligence also exerts a significant effect on moral value comprehension; and (3) there is a significant interaction between folklore use and emotional intelligence in shaping the moral value comprehension of fifth grade students at public elementary schools in Cluster 2, Kecamatan Sawahan, Kabupaten Nganjuk.
