Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Net Profit Margin (NPM), Free Cash Flow (FCF), and company growth towards firm value in oil, gas, and coal subsector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2021–2024 period. The study population consisted of 60 companies, with a sample of 54 companies selected using a purposive sampling method. The data used were secondary data from annual financial reports published on the IDX's official website. The analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the aid of SPSS software. The results show that net profit margin has a negative and significant effect towards firm value, indicating that a high net profit margin does not always lead to increased firm value. Free cash flow does not significantly affect firm value, despite the availability of free cash after capital expenditures. Company growth does not significantly affect firm value. Simultaneously, these three variables do not significantly affect firm value.
