Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of motivation, ability, and perception of the work environment towards trainability among Z Generations in Madiun City. Trainability is a crucial factor in the modern workforce because it relates to an individual's readiness to receive training and develop their competencies. This study used a quantitative approach with primary data obtained through questionnaires distributed to 385 respondents. The analysis technique used was multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 21. The results show that, both partially and simultaneously, motivation, ability, and perception of the work environment has a positive and significant effect towards trainability. This finding indicates that Z Generations with high motivation, good initial abilities, and positive perceptions of the work environment tend to be more prepared to participate in job training. Therefore, companies need to consider these three factors when designing employee training and development programs.
