Keywords: Reading Comprehension, Think Pair Share Play, Educational Games Reading comprehension is the activity of reading by understanding and comprehending the meaning of the content of the reading, both in the form of representations of the author's thoughts, ideas, and opinions. Through reading comprehension, readers will be guided to gain new insights and understanding. The application of the Think Pair Share learning model assisted by the PANIN KUMBOK (Papan Bermain Kunci Gembok/Lock and Key Playboard) media is an effort to improve reading comprehension skills in sixth grade elementary school students. This study aims to: (1) describe the learning process by applying the Think Pair Share model assisted by the PANIN KUMBOK media (Padlock Key Playboard), and (2) describe the reading comprehension skills of sixth grade elementary school students after applying the Think Pair Share model assisted by the PANIN KUMBOK media (Padlock Key Playboard) in Indonesian language learning. This study uses the Classroom Action Research method. The subjects in this study were sixth grade elementary school students, consisting of sixth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Polorejo, Babadan, Ponorogo, with a total of 20 students divided into 9 male students and 11 female students. This study was conducted in two cycles. Data collection was carried out through observation, documentation, and written tests. The research instruments were in the form of Teaching Modules, fiction and non-fiction texts as reading materials, Padlock Key Playboards (PANIN KUMBOK), Student Worksheets (LKPD), evaluation instruments consisting of questions, answer keys, and assessment guidelines or rubrics. The results of the study showed an increase in students' reading comprehension skills from each cycle. Reading comprehension skills were measured from 3 aspects (determining the content of the reading, analyzing the content of the reading, and finding the implied message) there was an increase from cycle I to cycle II. In cycle I the average value reached 70.05 with classical completeness of 70% and in cycle II there was an increase in the average value of the results of the evaluation of students' reading comprehension, namely 81.85 with classical completeness of 80%. Students' skills in cycle I average value in the reading activity aspect of 3.05, self-confidence aspect 3.10, cooperation aspect 3.20, and independent aspect 3.45 and (2) in cycle II the average value in the reading activity aspect of 3.05, self-confidence aspect 3.10, cooperation aspect 3.20, and independent aspect 3.45. The results of this study should be used as a reference for teachers to improve reading comprehension skills in Elementary School students.
