Abstract
ABSTRAK Sulistiyowati. 2025. Peningkatan Keterampilan Menulis Puisi Menggunakan Media Gambar Siswa Kelas III SDN 2 Siwalan Kecamatan Mlarak Kabupaten Ponorogo. Tesis. Kata kunci: pembelajaran, menulis, puisi, dan media gambar Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan (1) penerapan media gambar dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran menulis puisi siswa kelas III SDN 2 Siwalan Kecamatan Mlarak Kabupaten Ponorogo dan (2) hasil belajar siswa kelas III SDN 2 Siwalan Kecamatan Mlarak Kabupaten Ponorogo dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi menggunakan media gambar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan dua siklus penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) penerapan media gambar dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran menulis puisi siswa kelas III SDN 2 Siwalan Kecamatan Mlarak Kabupaten Ponorogo. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan guru memberikan apersepsi dan motivasi, memberikan penjelasan kepada siswa tentang puisi, menunjukkan media gambar, menggali pengetahuan awal siswa dengan bertanya jawab terkait gambar, menjelaskan gambar, memberikan bimbingan kepada siswa, dan memberikan evaluasi menulis puisi. Peningkatan tersebut dapat dilihat dari kesungguhan siswa dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi, semangat dalam mengungkapkan gagasannya, antusiasme/ minat tinggi dalam menulis puisi, aktif berpartispasi dalam diskusi, rasa termotivasi, tertarik dan saling berkompetisi menulis puisi, dan (2) hasil belajar siswa kelas III SDN 2 Siwalan Kecamatan Mlarak Kabupaten Ponorogo dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi menggunakan media gambar nampak dari nilai rata-rata siswa meningkat dari kondisi awal dengan kategori cukup (58.05) menjadi kategori cukup (67.5) pada siklus I dan menjadi kategori baik (77.22) pada siklus II. This research is classroom action research with two research cycles. The results of this research are (1) the application of image media can improve learning to write poetry for class III students at SDN 2 Siwalan, Mlarak District, Ponorogo Regency. This is proven by the teacher providing apperception and motivation, providing explanations to students about poetry, showing image media, exploring students' initial knowledge by asking and answering questions related to images, explaining images, providing guidance to students, and providing evaluations on writing poetry. This increase can be seen from the students' seriousness in learning to write poetry, enthusiasm in expressing their ideas, enthusiasm/high interest in writing poetry, actively participating in discussions, feeling motivated, interested and competing with each other in writing poetry, and (2) the learning outcomes of class III SDN students 2 Siwalan, Mlarak District, Ponorogo Regency, in learning to write poetry using image media, it can be seen from the average student score that it increased from the initial condition in the sufficient category (58.05) to the adequate category (67.5) in cycle I and to the good category (77.22) in cycle II.
