Abstract
ABSTRACT Zenu Khanafi. 2025. The Influence of Social Media, Income Expectations and Family Economic Education on the Entrepreneurial Interest of Students at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), PGRI Madiun University. Skripsi. Economic Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas PGRI Madiun. Advisor (I) Yahya Reka Wirawan M.Pd and Advisor (II) Dwi Nila Andriani, M.Pd This study aims to: (1) determine the influence of social media on entrepreneurial interest, (2) determine the influence of income expectations on entrepreneurial interest, (3) determine the influence of family economic education on entrepreneurial interest, (4) determine the influence of social media, income expectations and family economic education on entrepreneurial interest. This study is included in quantitative research. The population in this study was 502 students. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with a sample size of 223 respondents. This study used questionnaires and documentation as data collection techniques. The questionnaire used to obtain data consisted of 29 questions covering 3 independent variables and 1 dependent variable that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis used was normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, linearity test, multiple linear regression analysis, t test, f test, and coefficient of determination. The results of this study indicate that (1) partially there is a positive and significant influence between social media on interest in entrepreneurship of 94.7% (2) partially there is no positive and significant influence between income expectations on interest in entrepreneurship (3) partially there is no positive and significant influence between family economic education on interest in entrepreneurship (4) simultaneously there is a positive and significant influence between social media, income expectations, and family economic education on interest in entrepreneurship of 62.0%, while the rest is influenced by other variables not explained in this study.
