Abstract

Application of Structural Analytic Synthetic Method with Picture and Picture Learning Technique in Early Reading for Grade 1 Students of SDN Mlilir 01, Dolopo District, Madiun Regency This research aims to (1) describe and explain the planning of the Structural Analytic Synthetic method with Picture and Picture learning technique in early reading for Grade 1 students of Mlilir 01, Dolopo District, Madiun Regency, (2) describe and explain the implementation of the Structural Analytic Synthetic method with Picture and Picture learning technique in early reading for Grade 1 students of Mlilir 01, Dolopo District, Madiun Regency, and (3) describe and explain the evaluation of the implementation of the Structural Analytic Synthetic method with Picture and Picture learning technique in early reading for Grade 1 students of Mlilir 01, Dolopo District, Madiun Regency. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this research are (1) learning planning using the Structural Analytic Synthetic method with Picture and Picture learning technique in early reading for Grade 1 students of Mlilir 01, Dolopo District, Madiun Regency, has used complete syllabus and lesson plans made by the teacher, (2) the implementation of learning has three stages: introduction, core activities using the SAS method with Picture and Picture technique, and closing activities, and (3) evaluation of learning uses two stages: written tests and non-tests (process tests) selected from student attitudes during the learning process. Keywords: early reading, structural analytic synthetic, picture and picture.
