Abstract
This study aimed to develop Retif, a responsive and interactive STEM-DT-based learning media, to improve the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students at SDN 01 Taman, Madiun. Using the Research and Development (R&D) method with the 4-D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate), data were collected through expert validation (media, material, and language), student questionnaires, and pretest-posttest assessments. Results indicated high validity scores: 85% (media), 96% (material), and 86% (language). Student responses improved from 68% (less positive) to 89% (very positive), while critical thinking skills significantly increased, with posttest scores averaging 82.52 compared to the pretest average of 71.3. The findings demonstrate that Retif effectively enhances students' critical thinking and engagement in learning.
