Abstract

This research aims to describe and explain (1) the application of caricature drawing media can improve learning to write narrative paragraphs in class VI students at SDN Bangunsari 1, Dolopo District, Madiun Regency, and (2) the activities of class VI S students at SDN Bangunsari 1, Dolopo District, Madiun Regency in compiling narrative paragraphs using caricature images as media. This research is classroom action research using two cycles. The results of this research are (1) the application of caricature drawing media can improve learning to write narrative paragraphs in class VI students at SDN Bangunsari 1, Dolopo District, Madiun Regency. This is proven by the results of student learning in learning to write narrative paragraphs using caricature image media for class V students at SDN Bangunsari 1, Dolopo District, Madiun Regency, which is in the complete category, and (2) Student activities in learning to write narrative paragraphs using caricature image media for class VI students at SDN Bangunsari. 1 Dolopo District, Madiun Regency, there was an increase from cycle I to cycle II. This proves that caricature drawing media can increase students' activity in writing narrative paragraphs.
