Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine how regional expenditure in Nganjuk Regency was impacted by the General Allocation Fund (DAU) and Local Own-Source Revenue (PAD) between 2011 and 2025. According to the study's context, regional development required a significant financial commitment, which was made possible by regional expenditure. Local Own-Source Revenue (PAD), a gauge of the region's fiscal independence, stayed comparatively low. Therefore, the central government's General Allocation Fund (DAU) played a critical role in bolstering the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget's (APBD) framework. In Nganjuk Regency, the study questions investigated the effects of DAU alone, PAD alone, and both DAU and PAD together on regional expenditure. Descriptive statistical analysis and traditional assumption tests, such as the heteroscedasticity, multicollinearity, and normality tests, were used in this investigation. The data were found to be normally distributed, free of heteroscedasticity and multicollinearity, according to the findings of the traditional assumption tests. The research built a solid methodological foundation for examining this relationship, even though the offered text sample did not fully provide the precise hypothesis testing results about the influence of DAU and PAD on Regional Expenditure in Nganjuk Regency. It was anticipated that this study will offer both theoretical advantages as an economic science reference and practical advantages to the Nganjuk Regency Government in the development of regional financial management policie.
