Abstract
Belca. 2025. Design and Construction of a Web-Based Tourism Service and Bus Reservation Information System (Case Study: PT Trans Saba, Madiun Regency). Thesis. Informatics Engineering Study Program, FT, Universitas PGRI Madiun. Supervisor (I) Fatim Nugrahanti, S.T., M.T. (II) Yoga Prisma Yuda, S.Kom., M.Kom. The rapid development of information technology requires companies to utilize web-based information systems to improve efficiency and customer service. PT Trans Saba, a tourism transportation service provider in Madiun Regency, still faces obstacles in delivering information and processing bus reservations through conventional methods. Therefore, this study aims to design and build a web-based tourism service and bus reservation information system that can improve service effectiveness and expand the reach of information to customers. The system development method used is Extreme Programming (XP), with a Model-ViewController (MVC) approach using the Laravel framework and MySQL database. This system is designed to be accessible to both admins and users, with features such as destination selection, fleet data management, rental prices, and order validation. System testing was conducted using black-box method to assess usability and user satisfaction with the system. The final result of this study is a web-based information system that can help PT Trans Saba provide more effective, efficient, and responsive services to customer needs in the digital era.
