Abstract

Kopi Kakak Madiun, a well-known coffee shop, faced limitations in its commercial POS system, which lacked a customer loyalty program, hampering its long-term marketing strategy. This limitation prevented the collection of valuable customer data, which is crucial for business development, including planning the new "Kopi Kakak Keliling" initiative. This research aimed to design and build a website-based cashier information system that integrates a points-based loyalty program to increase customer retention and support marketing strategies. The system was developed using Agile methods, with a technology stack consisting of Next.js for the front-end, Nest.js for the back-end API, and MySQL as the database. Black Box testing results, conducted by cashier staff, showed that all system functionality for the Admin and Cashier roles operated normally without any errors. The resulting system successfully provided a digital solution that not only simplified the transaction process but also effectively collected customer address data through member registration, providing a data-driven foundation for future business strategies.
