The Effectiveness of Group Counseling Services Using the Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) Technique to Reduce Academic Burnout in Grade X - TKR Students at SMK Gamaliel 1 Madiun. Keywords: academic burnout, group counseling, self-regulated learning (SRL), vocational high school students Academic burnout is a condition characterized by emotional exhaustion, a cynical attitude toward learning, and a decreased sense of self-accomplishment caused by prolonged academic pressure. This condition hinders students' learning motivation and negatively impacts academic achievement. Based on observations at SMK Gamaliel 1 Madiun, several Grade X-TKR students were found to be experiencing high levels of academic burnout. Therefore, appropriate interventions are needed to reduce this condition so that students can regain optimal learning performance. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of group counseling services using the Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) technique in reducing academic burnout. The research employed a quantitative experimental method with a One Group Pre-test and Post-test design. The subjects were seven Grade X-TKR students identified as experiencing high academic burnout. Data were collected using an academic burnout questionnaire that included indicators of emotional exhaustion, cynicism, and reduced self-accomplishment. After receiving group counseling services using the SRL technique over three sessions, the data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. The results showed a significant decrease in students' academic burnout levels after participating in group counseling services using the SRL technique. This proves that the implementation of SRL in group counseling is effective in enhancing students' self-regulation, managing academic stress, and fostering learning motivation. Therefore, this service can serve as a strategic alternative in the practice of guidance and counseling to address academic burnout at the vocational high school level
