Abstract
The success of job seekers does not only depend on formal education, but also on soft skills and employability skills, such as collaborative skills that are important in diverse teamwork. Based on this, this study is entitled “Evaluation of Collaborative Skills of Electrical Engineering Students in the Context of Field Work Readiness.” The research method used is mixed methods, combining qualitative methods (observation, interviews, and documentation) and quantitative methods (questionnaires), with the results analyzed through data triangulation. This study aims to evaluate the collaborative skills of Electrical Engineering Education program students in preparation for their field work practice (PKL). The study involved fourth-semester students as participants, with data collected through questionnaires, interviews, and observations to assess collaborative aspects such as participation, productivity, responsibility, adaptability, and mutual respect within teams. The results indicate that students are sufficiently collaborative for field work practice, but further strengthening is needed through project-based learning and active faculty involvement to better prepare them for the workforce.
