Abstract

Technological advancements drive the need for efficient information dissemination and public services, however, many villages such as Dimong Village, still face challenges with inefficient manual information dissemination and administrative services. This research aims to design and develop a website-based village information system to address these issues. This system is expected to facilitate Dimong Village residents in accessing information and submitting online requests for administrative documents, thereby improving the efficiency and quality of village services. This study employs Research & Development (R&D) as its research type to develop the village information system. The system development method applied is Waterfall, which involves stages of analysis, system design, implementation using WordPress, and testing. The research results indicate that the developed village information system can provide real-time information and enable online submission of administrative document requests. System Usability Scale (SUS) testing yielded an average score of 81.7, falling into the "Acceptable" category with a grade B. Thus, this system is expected to enhance service efficiency and support the realization of a digital village. Keywords: Village Information System, Document Request, WordPress, Waterfall, SUS
