Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of TikTok social media as a form in Indonesian language learning, specifically in the Observation Report Text material in class X LP SMK Cendekia Madiun. The background of this study is the development of technology and social media, which have become part of students' daily lives. TikTok was chosen as a learning medium because it is considered capable of facilitating students in expressing ideas, enhancing learning motivation, and supporting technology-based learning. The research method used was a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research results indicate that the use of TikTok has a positive impact on students' creativity. Students were able to create creative video content in line with the learning material, improve their ability to write observation report texts, and build confidence in presenting their work. However, there were some challenges, such as limited internet connectivity, technical skills in video editing, and insufficient teaching time. Despite these challenges, the use of TikTok as an educational medium can serve as an innovative and effective alternative to enhance active participation and creativity among students.
