Abstract
The decline in the number of radio listeners in the digital era requires the radio industry to adapt through business model innovation, improving service quality and appropriate promotional strategies. This research aims to develop a sustainable radio business model in the Madiun Residency area by utilizing the Business Model Canvas (BMC), SERVQUAL, SWOT, and QSPM approaches. The BMC method is used to map the nine main elements of a business model, SERVQUAL measures the gap between listeners' expectations and perceptions of five dimensions of service quality, while SWOT is used to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats faced. BMC results show the need to sharpen customer segments, strengthen unique and interactive content, diversify digital channels, and develop revenue sources. SERVQUAL analysis found several dimensions with negative gap values, indicating the need to improve physical facilities, responsiveness, and broadcaster empathy. The SWOT results produce three priority strategies through QSPM: active communication outside of broadcast hours, delivery of clear and topical material, and friendly content for all ages. This combination of strategies is expected to increase listener loyalty, expand audience reach, and strengthen radio's competitiveness amidst digital media competition.
