Abstract

This research evaluates the maintenance interval of the grinding station 3 at PG.ABC, which experienced 1,540 minutes of downtime in 2023 and 2024 due to the replacement of the unigrator blade with the highest RPN of 128. The Weibull calculation shows an MTTF of 167.920 hours, recommending preventive maintenance. The MTTR is 118.461 minutes, and the MTBF reaches 106.769 hours. The MVSM analysis indicates an MMLT of 540 minutes, with VA at 59%, NVA at 22%, and NNVA at 19%. Reducing NVA and NNVA can expedite the repair process. The future state map shows an MMLT of 440 minutes, VA at 68%, NVA at 18%, and NNVA at 14%. This study can minimize the risk of Steam Engine failure and enhance repair process efficiency.
